  he Ferguson Citywalk district in historic Downtown Ferguson has been a lively hub of commercial activity for more than 100 years. Spanning ten pedestrian-friendly blocks along Florissant Rd, Airport Rd and Church St, the district is home to a wide array of restaurants, specialty shops, art & music venues, interesting attractions, and quality service businesses.

Downtown Ferguson in 1958
pre-dates World War II, with many structures built during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Visitors to the area can enjoy a charming showcase of vintage architectural styles, both in the district and in surrounding neighborhoods.
 
Info on the city's self-guided walking tours can be found at the kiosk in front of City Hall, 110 Church Street.
Throughout the year, Citywalk hosts some of the best concerts, community festivals, and fine art events in all of St. Louis, including the annual Fourth of July Parade, Northern Lights Celebration, and StreetFest, a two-day gala  that draws thousands of music lovers and fun-seekers to Ferguson each September. Citywalk is also home to the award-winning Ferguson Farmers Market, which was named #1 Favorite Missouri Farmers' Market 2010 and #18 America's Favorite Farmers' Market 2010.
